  i welcome any comments on the most recent dialogue i had with an ex-jw who wants to be readmitted after 44 years of disfellowship.

  talk about returning to one's own... somebody stop me:there seems to be a lack of affinity and reality in our recent textual exchange on the subject, originated by you that armaggeddon is imminent or highly likely to happen very soon because signs cited in the gospel of matthew are increasing alarmingly.

  derek, thank you for your concern for me and what you think is your attempt to save me by getting me to become one of jws who will be spared.

  Advice on how to proceed ?

  one of my son's who is 21 recently met a person in one of his classes at the local college who is a pioneer ( parents are forcing him to do it).. this person (lets call him ted) is really fed up with this religion.

  and is seriously considering ways to leave.. his dad is a pioneer/elder, mom is a pioneer also, i don't know if there are any brothers or sisters.. my son wants to proceed carefully, mom and dad don't know who we are, or what our status in the religion is.. they sound like uber-control people, they always check teds cell phone to see who he is talking to (the kid is 18).. he is planning to move out next year, do any of you have any suggestions as to how he could/should proceed ?.

  jwbrothers site under maintenance? or is it the April KM?

  for some days the web site www.jwbrothers.org is under maintenance, when i saw the april km at my in-laws place i noticed the article about circulating talks and web site s that distribute them.

  do you think it is a coincident or do you think they give in.. the article said that old talks would be taken out of context if you did not know why some things where said.. like a governing body member saying that if you could you should pick up a copy of "angels and woman".

  More "sex texting" on Facebook...Circuit Assembly

  so my congregation just had their circuit assembly on 3/14.

  recalling the thread about "facebook sex", i told a non-witness friend at work that after this assembly is over he would notice one of our mutual friends would either lower his time on fb or delete it altogether.

  sure enough, come sunday night, his profile was gone.

  Damn frustrating when your friends start taking it seriously isn't it ?

  But look on the bright side,

  after several years, and countless headaches they will probably be out of the religion for one reason or another.

  When you started to get into specifics, that is where their eyes will glaze over and loose attention.

  Keep them guessing why you left, forget the facts. They dont give a hoot .

  i changed my account last week, i was known here as lance link for several years.. as time went on, i began to really notice that this weird looking monkey with a gun was staring back at me everytime.

  i posted something.. some of my posts were pretty heartfelt, and looking at that d*** monkey kinda seemed to simplify and trivialize.

  what I said.

  I feel that this new picture is a more accurate representation of how I look at religion and the wtbts now.
